Committee Overview:
A cornerstone of CREW activities, the Sponsorship Committee develops partnerships within the Commercial Real Estate Community to provide a variety of sponsorship options and venues, corporate membership programs, and member/sponsor benefits through CREW Denver.
Committee Member Duties:
Responsible for soliciting existing and potential CREW Denver Sponsors through creation of sponsor menu options and value-add propositions, which provide funding for CREW Denver activities.
Estimated Time Commitment:
Sponsorship is generally fourth quarter and first quarter focused. Requires calling on sponsors, explaining the benefits of sponsoring CREW Denver, and coordinating with other committees where sponsorship dollars have been allocated. Sponsorship committee members can perform these duties from their own office on their own time. In addition the committee meets monthly.
Timing of Sponsorship Participation:
Timing for volunteering is really inline with the membership renewal process. CREW budgeting is done on a calendar year, so sponsorship drive focus starts in fourth quarter.
Benefits of Serving on Committee:
Benefits of serving on the sponsorship committee include interfacing with local companies and decision makers in the commercial real estate community. Committee members also have regular interaction with each of the other eight CREW Denver committees, so the networking opportunities for committee volunteers are numerous. Benefits also include providing immense value to CREW Denver through driving the sponsorship funding mechanism.
Meeting Time/Location:
Meetings are held the morning of the first Friday of every month, generally for planning and updating sponsorship strategy and commitments. Meeting location varies monthly, contact Co-Chairs for more information.
