Committee Overview:
The Finance and Budget Committee is responsible for oversight of CREW Denver's financial processing and reporting, review of operating results and financial condition, and long-term financial planning.
Committee Member Duties:
Committee members act as liaisons with other CREW Committees to ensure that all budget items are within the annual budget as approved by the Board of Directors.
Estimated Time Commitment:
Committee generally meets quarterly and as needed in the fourth quarter to ensure the budget is being planned and finalized. Committee members are encouraged to attend Committee meetings of those they act as liaison for and continually monitor the active budget for their respective Committee.
Timing of Program Events:
Finance Committee responsibilities are year-round, monitoring the financial health of the organization throughout the year.
Benefits of Serving on Committee:
Benefits to volunteering on the Finance Committee include networking with other CREW committee members while helping to manage their budget.
